This learning activity will allow the students to create a
presentation about an object that is important to them.
The teacher will start the lesson by talking about and asking the
students about which objects are important to them. She will
ask them to narrow it down to one object that they would be
willing to talk about with the class.
The students will be asked to make a short presentation about
this object that they will have to present to the class. With the
help from the teacher and a teaching assistant, the Students will
be called to a computer to work on this project one on one.
The students will work on this project using www.powtoon.com
This video will have the following requirements:
must be 15-20 seconds
must include a picture (or one similar) to your object
must include 3-5 facts about your object
The student will be required to present this presentation to the
class.
As the students are presenting, their classmates will have an
assignment to make sure they are paying attention to others
presentations. They will be required to write one statement
 about each of their classmates presentations.
