Science Group Project

We divided our presentation into 3 main domains: Cosmos, Medicine and Ecology. There will be
two of us for each domain and each pair has to talk about 2-3 subdomains.

We work on each of the domains and subdomains together, only the presentations will be
separate. Each presentation will contain some new words linked to the topic and the pair
responsible with the topic will explain it to the students.

Our group will be organized into Stations all around the classroom and each Station will be a
different planet, so that we can be heard everywhere and also for fun.

The Medicine pair (Vlad tefan and Alexandru Diaconescu) will be talking about:

antibiotics and how bacterias can become drug-resistant

statistics of infected people and deaths caused by these drug-resitant diseases
where are we heading if antibiotics will become useless
what can we do to prevent this from happening
bioprinting of human tissues and organs

The Cosmos pair ( Teodor Patracu and Ctlina Bulei) will be talking about:

the evolution of the Universe and ways to destroy the Universe

black holes
how far humans can get
news about scientific exploration and Mars colonization.

Teodor and Catalina will also teach the class how to write their astrophysical addresses correctly
as a short game.

The Ecology pair ( Ana Maria Tanasa and Paula Andrei) will be talking about:

climate change
how science can save the earth
the different opinions on climate change

Maria and Paula will also have an interactive activity where the class has to come with ways of
saving the Earths climate.
At the end of the presentation, a vocabulary game will be played. Each student will receive a
word that was used and explained during the presentation and they will have to tell the class the
meaning of the word ( in their own words) and create a sentence using it.
