Hello, I am writing you today in reference to your Carolina Gold strain of rice. I am curious about the
current state of this strain which for many families in the south has a hereditary nostalgia. I would
like to ask about your production numbers and your large scale availability to help ascertain the
current situation of Carolina Gold. As you are the only provider of Carolina Gold on the East Coast,
you are the only reliable source of info and your cooperation would be greatly appreciated.

Production Numbers
To begin with, I would like to know a rough estimate of the available quantity of Carolina Gold in a
given year.how much Carolina Gold do you produce on average in a given year? Since you are one of
the few available sources of Carolina Gold, knowledge of your general quantity gives me a more solid
grasp of how much of this strain is produced yearly. This knowledge would give a sense of comfort
knowing whether or not this strain is at risk or simply small quantities.

Availability
My next question is how far from your business is the rice shipped?. I understand that your rice is
only available via request or contract so there are no business locations to purchase from. To
reiterate where is the farthest you are willing to ship?. By acquiring this info it would allow me
knowledge of the transportation networks used, as well as the largest possible spread for this rice.
