Dear Ms. Kelly,

The International Club of the University of North Carolina Charlotte will have its annual chili
eating contest on 24 November 2017. With the convention 1 month away, our Executive team
is seeking a Farmers Market that can provide us with chilies for the contest. We need top 17
types of hottest chilies. Our Executive team would like to consider your market because of its
location and reputation for providing fresh and healthy chilies.

Our Executive team would also like to consider the big open as the venues because of its
location and reputation in handling competitions.

By 10 November 2017, I will need answers to the following questions, if you are
interested in providing us with the chilies. I will contact you be phone no later than 14
November, 2017 to arrange an appointment to discuss our needs in further detail.

Number of contestants and spectators

Based on registration from previous year, we expect 170 chilies for 10 contestants (as we have
17 rounds and the 10 contestants in total). Our spectators might want to try some, so we will
need 50 more chilies of different types. For the actual event, we are expecting 200 people to
come for the event.

Contest Accommodations Needed

We need you to provide answers to the following questions:

1. Can you help us get fresh chilies?

2. What types of chilies should we get for the competition (they should be hot but not
harmful)
3. Can you provide us with the required number?
4. Can your space accommodate 200 people on the required dates?

Response Deadline

I will need a written response to each question by 15 November 2017. Also, please include in

your reply a price list for all the things needed.
