Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, Bavaria in 1879 and he went to school in
Munich. In 1894, his parents left Germany and moved to Milan, but Einstein
completed his education in Zurich. In 1901 he became Swiss nationality, and in
1905, his theory of relativity made him world famous. In 1909, he became a
professor at the University of Zurich. From 1914 to 1933, he took Director of the
Kaiser Wilhelm Physical Institute in Berlin. He won the Nobel Prize for Physics in
1921. In 1933 he left Germany and moved to the USA, where he worked at
Princeton from 1934 to 1945. He died in 1955.
