The Application System will be operational by that date. The deadline for submitng the application tothe EMJMD STEPS willbe 31st December of the previous year to the commencement of studies. ‘The application process for the EMJMD STEPS consists of2 steps: 1. Firs, applicants wil ave to flout and electronically submit the application form within deadline va the Application System on the dedicated EMIMD STEPS website 2. Selection process and Decision will be done the same year of the commencement of studies. The Application System wil provide applicants to fil out the application form on-ine and indicate if they apaly for Erasmus Mundus ‘Scholarship, attach al eupporting documents in digital frm, including the relevant certfcates and transcrip of previous eludes, ‘submit the form to the EMJMD STEPS Coordinating University and wil Issue an acknowledgment of receipt. All application documents should be presented in English ‘Ta be eligible forthe EMJMD STEPS master programme the applicant should full these minimal requirements: + Be holder ofa Bachelor degree in Engineering (a minimum of three years’ study ata unversity and of a minimum of 189 ECTS, ‘or equivalent according to the regulations in the country of origin and tothe European regulations) + International students attending the EMJMD STEPS Programme and whose frst Ianguage isnot English, are required to have ‘an appropriate gradelscore in an approved examination in English language equivalent to level B2 before they can register on fan academic programme. The following are recognised English Language qualifications by the EMJMD STEPS for this cours: ‘+ The Academic version ofthe Intemational English Language Testing System (IELTS): This is available world-wide through British Council Centres and we would request a score of 6 with no less than 5.5 in each element. ‘+ Tost of English as a Forsign Language (TOEFL with atleast 79 point and atleast 17 points in the writing section, 18 in reading and 20 in speaking ‘+ Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) with at least 55 and no less than 51 in each element ‘Any Englsh test will need to have been taken within 2 years of registration onto the course, ‘Students we have taken their education ently in the medium af English and can demonstrate that they have completed a recognised degree or have successfully completed the whole oftheir secondary education up to and including the equivalent of year ‘twelve in one ofthe countries on the UKBA list of counties will automatically receive and English language waler. The applications willbe pre-screened for formal requirements. The applications fuliling the formal requirements shall be given aver tothe EMJMD STEPS Academic Committee for ‘evaluation. The Selection procedure is divided in two stages: 1) Academic evaluation of the candidate's curriculum based on the Information provided by the applicants through the online Application Systom; 2) Inlarviow to the 40 fo 60 best ranked preselected students.
