Seminar on PCOS at Swaminarayan College

The one-day national seminar on "PCOS A Major Obstacle in Women Empowerment - An initiative for make in healthier India" was organized by Smt. B.N.B. Swaminarayan Pharmacy College in Salvav, Vapi-Gujarat, India and sponsored by GUJCOST. The program was inaugurated by the chief guest Dr. Beena Joshi from NIRRH-ICMR and trustees from the pharmacy college. Lectures were presented on PCOS, cosmetic concerns in PCOS, and related topics. Participants presented posters which were evaluated and the best posters in various departments were awarded prizes.

One day National seminar was held on date 09/09/2017. The program was inaugurated by Chief guest Dr.
Beena Joshi, SCIENTIST-E AT NIRRH ICMR, Mumbai, Trutee Shri Pujya Purani Swamiji and
Kapilswamiji of Smt BNBSPC, Salvav, Vapi.

Seminars were presented by Chief guest Dr. Beena Joshi, SCIENTIST-E AT NIRRH ICMR, Mumbai.
She delivered lecture on topic PCOS ; Dr. Jaspreet Sarana Rajani, MD (Skin & V.D.) Dermatologist and
cosmetologist from 21st Century hospital Vapi, on topic Cosmetic concerns in PCOS ; Mr. Priyand
Gajiwala Deputy Manager QA Reliance Life Sciences, Mumbai.; Dr. Shivani Desai, Assistant Professor,
D. Y Patil college of Pharmacy Pune, on topic

Poster Presentation on various topics were presented by participants. Judges invited from different
universities and industries evaluated their posters. Best 1 st and 2nd poster in Departments like
Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharma chemistry and Pharmacognosy was sorted and were awarded.
