A Contemporary City� was a read that I favored a bit more than any reading I've

done thus far, partly because I found that Le Corbusier started out with a few
common Themes about the �City� that we have in common: �The city is a beast�(truly
unpredictable), clear and concise objectives so that it is clear what you are
working towards, And do not plan by reaction to current problems, plan in order to
produce fundamental principles in which said problems can be controlled and
reduced/Managed. Le Corbusier comes off very bourgie (bourgeois

) because he made arrogant statements about how his plan would be received ie:
�There were no notes to accompany the plans, and, alas! not everybody can read a
plan.� crazy gloating.
