ATHE’s Qualifications

ATHE qualifications are the culmination of expert input from ATHE recognised centres,
industry professionals and our qualification development team.

We have taken advantage of the flexibility of the RQF to develop a suite of awards,
certificates and diplomas that offer progression from level 3 up to level 7.

ATHE also has partnerships with many UK and international universities providing
opportunities to progress to Bachelors and Masters degree top-ups.

Key features of ATHE qualifications include:

• units that are common to different sectors offering the opportunity for learners to move between
sectors, or delay decisions as to which area to specialise in
• a range of units that can be used for professional development for those in employment, or for
learners who do not have the time to undertake a full time programme
• flexible methods of assessment allowing tutors to reflect the most appropriate methods for their
learners.

Available Qualifications
Business and Management
Level 3-7. From robust decision making to an
understanding of the impact of the global
environment, these qualifications are designed to
develop the broad range of specialist skills
required in successful managers.
Health and Social Care Management
Level 3-7. ATHE Health and Social Care
Management Qualifications were designed for
current and aspiring managers in various types of
organisations including hospitals and care homes
in both the public and private sector.

Law Travel and Tourism Management

Level 3. Law provides a framework within which Level 4-5. Key management skills coupled with

For some learners this will be straight into employment and a career, for others there is the opportunity
for progression to a university degree.

Qualification Equivalence

All ATHE qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF). The RQF is the
framework for qualifications in England.

Qualifications with the RQF range in difficulty from Entry level to level 8.

These qualifications also have direct comparisons to international qualifications so a qualification

achieved through ATHE is recognised in countries across the world. This is important in supporting
mobility of labour and will provide learners with opportunities to apply for progression to other
qualifications or for employment in other parts of the world.
