Sun Garden

A sun garden includes plants and flowers that are connected to fire and the sun. It has a very bright,
masculine feel and is great for summer.

 Citrus trees
 Angelica
 Yellow and Orange Peonies
 Saffron
 Marigolds
 Black-Eyed Susans
 Calendula
Moon Garden

A moon garden, as to be expected, includes plants and flowers that are connected to the moon. Moon
gardens are also typically all green and white, so that they can be enjoyed in moonlight, when white
flowers stand out in the dark unlike most other colors. Moon gardens often also include plants that are
night blooming. This is a garden with a distinctly feminine vibe but that can be used by all for meditation
and relaxation.

 Moonflower
 Evening primrose
 Gardenias
 Water lilies (also a perfect addition to a water feature)
 Jasmine
 White phlox
 White iris
 White garden roses
Herbal Garden

An herbal garden serves two purposes: flavor for home-cooked meals and magickal uses. Plant herbs in
large pots and place on a porch, preferably close to the kitchen so they are always close at hand.

 Basil (love, luck, protection)

 Thyme (courage)
 Oregano (happiness, health, luck)
 Mint (healing, divination)
 Cilantro (peace, garden protection)
 Rosemary (cleansing, protection)
 Sage (purification)
Vegetable Garden

Vegetables are often the focus of the pagan garden as they are the fresh, delicious summer harvest that,
of course, the month of August is all about! Try for a nice selection of the basics as well as a few out-of-
the-box choices.

 Tomatoes
 Zucchini
 Peppers
 String beans
 Crookneck squash
 Watermelons
 Purple Carrots
 Soy beans
 Jicama

THE SOIL

To create your own garden even if it is an indoor garden the first that you have to care is
what kind of ground or soil are you going to use for planting… of course it is according to the
plant… some plants can be planted even in sand but these would be only those plants which
doesn’t need much water because the sand can’t retain the water… so if you plant for example
a rose in sand it will day the same day… never use sand soil… you need to find some where
they sell plants and gardening stuff… there you can buy ‘’fertilizing soil’’ this soil is perfect for
the most kind of plants… because this soil is full of all kind of vitamins that all the kind of plants
need… this kind of soil is very rich of organic materials like rotten fruits in order to make it
very full of vitamins and proteins for your plant… if you wish to plant a pine so you need
fertilizing soil but ‘’acid’’ instead of the common (however you can’t plant a pine indoor)

THE FLOWERPOT

Of course the flowerpot must be related to the size of the plant, if you’re going to plant
aloe of course you won’t use a small flower pot, or if you are going to plant baby roses so don’t
use a big pot. Anything can be a pot, even a plastic cup, a coca-cola bottle without the top…
however the sense of making some indoor garden is make it look beautiful isn’t it? So these
improvised pot looks kinda ugly hehe, it is better to buy it or some homemade but painted
and made it dedication… the most important is never forget to put at least two or three small
holes in the bottom of the pot because when you spread water in the plant often so this water
can’t be retained in the bottom…

CORRECT TIME

The best time to plant, germinate and spray water on your garden is the morning, exactly
till 9 am when the sun light is soft, you can plant since 4 pm to 5 pm but the best is the
morning… never in the noon because this kills the plants

THE MOON,

Some people doesn’t care about it and they plant anytime, this is one of the reasons
because I say that gardening websites doesn’t give you all the details, they tell you how to
plant but rarely they say ‘when’ to plant… every phase of the moon has a big influence on your
plant, some short time ago much people thought it was just superstition but it is demonstrated
that it is truth… if you are gonna germinate seeds the best is make it when it is full moon…
the seeds are dried and need the most energy possible and at night the most energy that it
takes comes from the moon, the strongest moon is full moon thus it is perfect… if you are
gonna plant the plant already growing or with some leaf so you gotta plant it in the crescent
moon… if you are gonna plant some seed (different to germinate seed) germinate is make the
seed revive which is made with water… plant the seed is put it directly in the soil when it is
already germinated in spite of some seed which germinate just when it is planted… well in the
end what I mean is the best time to plant a seed already germinated is the crescent moon , if it
is a plant with fruit underground like carrot , onions, potatoes so the best is plant it being
mmm I don’t remember the name in English it is luna menguante in Spanish. Vegetables must
be planted in the menguante too… fuits in crescent… to hidratate them with water so you
gotta do it everynight but use less water when it is full moon. You can do it in the morning or
the sunset too… but the best time is at night.

THE ENERGY

About this I guess you know more than me so I don’t need to explain much… all what you do
with your garden (plant, give them water, germinate seeds) all must be done with a good
mood and without any kind of anger or sadness, plants are alive like us and so they absorb our
bad energy and could die… your garden is indoor so it won’t have much sunlight but so you
gotta put it in your balcony where it get some few sunlight… the sun is important but it is not
gonna kill the plant (according to the plant) the worse that could cause the lack of sunlight is
the plant grow smaller and kinda palid.
