Following test to be performed:

1. Filling sand: 80 Kg sample.


a) Sieve analysis using sieve 0.5mm and 0.14mm sieve. (Through 0.5mm sieve retain more
than 50% and through 0.14mm sieve passing not exceed 10%.) and F.M. Method -
AASHTO M145-91(2004)
b) Organic content: ≤ 5%, Method- ASTM D 2974
c) Permeability: ≤ 10-4 m/s. Method- ASTM D 2434
d) Maximum dry density and Optimum moisture content, Method- AASHTO T 99-01 (2004),
Standard Proctor.

2. Sylhet sand: 80 kg sample.


a) Sieve analysis using sieve 0.5mm and 0.14mm sieve. (Through 0.5mm sieve passing
more than 50% and through 0.14mm sieve passing not exceed 10%.) and F.M.
Method -AASHTO M145-91(2004)
b) Organic content: ≤ 5%, Method- ASTM D 2974
c) Permeability: ≤ 10-4 m/s. Method- ASTM D 2434
d) Maximum dry density and Optimum moisture content, Method- AASHTO T99-01
(2004), Standard Proctor.

3. 4.75mm downgraded crushed stone chips: 100 Kg sample.

f) Dynamic Puncture = 65%. Method- BS6906/6 (Drop cone method)

5. Brick: 10 nos. sample
