QUICK REVISION STRATEGY FOR ISRO

Scientist/Engineer 'SC' in the Electronics

The questions are highly conceptual but short in calculation. Direct

formulae based questions are very few. The important topics to be
prepare & revise for ISRO examination are:

EDC-Analog Electronics:

Numericals on Diode Clipper, Clamper etc. Transistor Biasing

Questions. Formulae based questions on Amplifier gain
input/output impedances of Transistor/MOSFET etc. How to
identify the type of feedback in Amplifier, Op-Amp based numerical.

Application of Op-Amp e.g., AMV, MMV, Precision Rectifier 555

Timer etc.

Microwave Devices:

S-parameters, Components e.g. H-Plane Tee, E-plane Tee, Magic

Tee, Cavity Klystron, Reflex Klystron, Gunn Diode etc.

EMFT:

Uniform plane wave, Transmission line, Antenna.

Communications Systems:
Radar, Optical Communication, Microwave Communication, Basics
of satellite communication and Terrestrial satellite.

Digital Electronics:

Questions based on flip-flops, counters, multiplexer & logic family

etc.

Network Analysis / Signal system:

Highly conceptual questions with short calculation e.g. Transient,

Theorem etc.

Control systems:

Transient & SSR specifications, PID controllers, R-H criterion,

basics of Root locus, Bode plot, Basic of Nyquist criterion, GM &
PM. Basics of compensators. Questions on state space e.g. STM &
Controllability observability.

Best of Luck !!!!!....
