I am pleased to offer a letter of recommendation for Haillee Beijer. I was Haillee’s

mentor teacher during her third year of the Bachelor of Elementary Education, Mount
Royal University. During the fall of 2016, Haillee was a very positive addition to the
Grade 5/6 Science School at Louis Riel School.

I would consider Haillee to be excellent with the following professional characteristics:

During our time working together, Haillee had the opportunity to observe and
participate in a program that views the curriculum through a scientific lens. Her time at
Louis Riel also offered Haillee the opportunity to experience the practical application of
inquiry in the classroom.

Haillee is an individual who is able to quickly establish rapport with students, and
deeply cares for their pedagogical and personal needs. I was particularly struck with
her aptitude to reflect upon her lessons and her capacity to identify key pedagogical
issues, and adapt accordingly. She deeply cares about every child. She differentiates
her lessons so every student from a student with learning difficulties to a gifted learner
is engaged, challenged and learning.

I recommend Haillee to you without any hesitation. During her mentorship, Haillee
used her time to observe various grade levels, programs, and subjects. She was
always keen for new experiences and new knowledge.
