b. Form starts with one (A) just piano/vocal. Bass/Drums in on 1st ending
c. Solos: piano 2 (A)’s. vocal (B) & (A). Bass 2 (A)’s.
d. Vocals sing (B) & (A). Fermata last three chords (but end on AbM7, resolve to A).
3. Satin Doll
4. St. Thomas.
a. Drums intro. Sax cues start of form.
b. 2x melody in and out. Short end.
5. It Could Happen to you
a. As written (e.g. tag 3 times, end half step up)
6. Cherokee (no lyrics). Up-tempo!
a. Improvised ending. Probably no tag. Just hit last note and hold.

a. Vamp intro tell sage cue. Tag 3x for end.

Set 2
1. Joy Spring
a. Rhythm section intro as written
b. Sage takes two (A)’s. Conner on (B). Together on last (A).
c. Piano solo, then vocal solo
d. Conner takes first (A), Sage second (A), Conner (B), together last (A). Written
ending which is 3x tag switching off between Conner/Sage.
2. I Can’t Get Started Without You
a. Sax pick-up to melody (sage piano).
b. On last solo (maybe bass) sax comes back in at bridge.
c. Fermata last G7 chord for sax cadenza, cued final chord.
3. Stolen Moments
a. Vamp intro (bass line: 5-1, 5-1, etc)
b. Solos on Cmi blues. Vamp intro after last solo
c. 3x tag ending (end on G7alt, never resolve to Cm)

Set Three
1. You Stepped Out of a Dream
a. Start at (C) ballad style (texture from Tay/Con). At last note of song Andy starts
latin riff. We come in on the second time. It gets played a total of 4 times.
b. (A) latin (B) swing (C) latin (D) swing
c. solos
d. Out-head: (A) latin (B) swing !!(C)!! drop out, ballad. Come back in on cue at
second line of D in swing. Tag 3x then back to the latin riff. Sage gives us a big
look on the last time of the riff and we end on Dbmaj7 (don’t resolve).
2. Blue Skies (proposed form)
a. Intro on (B) with pedal on D.
b. Sage sings head, at (B) we pedal on D.
c. Rhythmic ending (no tag). Feel it out.
3. Green Dolphin Street
a. Intro vamp
b. Latin A’s, Swing B’s. Swing solos
c. Tag ending with hits on the 1, 6 ,2, 5
4. Sunday Kind of Love
a. Follow Andy’s time/cues on the coda ending
