c In the qm Customer info record (qv51), there are 3 radio buttons under quality inspection field-
(Before delivery, After delivery, By customer). I am checking the table ³QVDM" .I am able to
locate the fields (1.After delivery, and 2.By customer).

But I couldn't locate the field for ³Before delivery" in the table QVDM. 1. Is it in some other table ?
2. If it is so, in which table I can find the field for ³Before delivery´?

By default system assumes before delivery unless one of the indicators "After delivery" or "By Customer"
is set.

There is no specific indicator for "Before Delivery"

c I have a scenario that my process order delivers co- product with the main product for which I
need to copy the results of the main product.

I have made the settings in SPRO, but I don't know what is the next step, where should I go to
copy the results.

Do you want to copy results of one co product lot to final product lot.
Then as you said you have done the customization(like manual or automatic select ),only thing that
mainly remains is go the Quant data of the char/mic & select copy results from the previous inspection lot.

go to QE01, Edit --> copy inspection results

system will ask for inspection lot from which u need to copy results.
enter inspection lot number

it will asl u for inspection lot if u have maintained proper SPRO settings for copy inspection results
(maually)

c have a small question. I have a scenerio where I am recording a result on a Master Inspection
Characteristic in QE51n.

The Limits are Lower (0) and Upper (999). When I type in 999.8 it accepts the value and when I
valuate it, it fails (I'm ok with that). BUT, when I type in 1200 and hit enter it gives me a Warning
message that my "value is too high".

What controls the warning message?

How can I get that message even if my value entered is 999.8?

I am using a Quantitative Characteristic and the Sampling Procedure attached is "Sampling Type
- 100 Fixed Sample" and Valuation Mode - 310 Variable Insp. s-Method (Two Limits)"

Can someone please straighten me out??

Thanks SO much

In the plant QM settings you'll find a default value for plausibility factor on the tab labelled "Results
recording". If no plausibility limits are maintained in for the MIC or in the plan, the system will use the
percentage defined in the plant settings. This can be any percentage you want it to be.

So if your spec is 80 - 90, and the plausibility factor is 150%, your plausibility limts would be 40 and 135
which should trigger the warning message. I think you'll find you can still however enter a value outside of
the plausibiliy limit and save it though
