The Challenge
Brookdale Senior Living – a leading provider of Assisted
Living and Independent Living facilities, Alzheimer’s and
Dementia Care, Continuing Care Retirement Communities
and home care – needed a wireless, portable solution to
give more than 3,000 nurses and outpatient care providers
the ability to collect and update patient records in real time.
The Solution
Three hundred Samsung Galaxy Tab® 10.1 tablets
preloaded with the Homecare Homebase™ PointCare
Manager and SOTI® MobiControl were provided
to employees.
The Results
Brookdale Senior Living was able to lock down and
remotely control the devices in order to effectively manage
its new mobile workforce applications. Brookdale also
extended the solution by deploying 2,500 Samsung
smartphones to remote employees.

BAYADA Home Health Care, a leading provider of home
health care and support services for children and adults,
needed to supply its therapists with instant access to data
while in the field.
The Solution
Samsung worked with Homecare Homebase to create a
custom solution that provided instant remote access to
patient information. With preloaded PointCare Manager
software on the Samsung Galaxy Tab® 7.0, the health care
staff could make decisions and take action within minutes of
patient data being collected.
