Orientation Checklist

To be ready for your first online course, make sure you complete the following items:

 Ensure your computer meets the EP Technology Requirements.

 Complete the Adobe Connect Browser Test. To be prepared for your first
online Office Hours, you should complete the browser test and install any
necessary software.

 Order any needed textbooks for your courses. After you register for your
courses and you learn which textbooks you need to purchase, visit the MBS
Direct Virtual Bookstore to order any textbooks you may need.

 Complete the Academic Integrity course. Along with the Orientation, you will
be automatically enrolled in the Academic Integrity course shortly after
registering for your first course at EP. This course will take approximately 30
minutes to complete. All students are expected to complete the Academic
Integrity course within their first term. If you have already taken a course with
EP, you do not need to take the Academic Integrity course again.

 Complete the Online Student Orientation. This may sound obvious, but be
sure you have reviewed the information in all of the modules of the Orientation,
as well as completed all of the activities. If you are an Environmental
Engineering (575) student, you are required to pass the Orientation course
before you can access your first course.

 Look for your course in Blackboard at the start of the semester. Even if you
have completed the Orientation course prior to the first day, you will not see your
course until your instructor makes it available. This will occur shortly before the
start of the semester, and may not happen until the first day of classes.
