How to Lose Weight Easily

Without Exercise,
Without Starving,
Without Calorie Counting:
Intermittent Fasting

An Essay by
Jonathan C.

Introduction:

I’m going to tell you how to lose weight, but I want you to keep something in mind… I’m
not a doctor. I’m not a dietician. I’m not a nutritionist. I didn’t even go to university. I
have no credentials at all. I’m just an average guy, probably not unlike you—except for
one thing, I enjoy a bit of self-experimentation. What can I say? I’m a curious fellow, and
I like to test things out—diets in particular.
Obviously, as you may have guessed, I used to be a hefty fellow; and I went through
a ton of different diets. I tried it all. I tried the grapefruit thing. I tried only eating meat. I
tried eating cabbage soup. I tried moderating my food and exercising. I even tried just
plain starving. Of course, none of it worked. They were too damn hard.
But, in my self-experimentation, I found out what did work.
INTERMITTENT FASTING.
It’s exactly as it sounds. Fasting, but doing it intermittently (on and off). You
basically don’t eat for a day and just eat the next day as you normal would. Then you
repeat this “eat, don’t eat, eat, don’t eat, eat, don’t eat,” until you reach your desired
weight or size.
“But wait,” you say, “isn’t that dangerous and unhealthy? Isn’t that just starving
yourself?” Well, heck no. It’s not starving yourself. You eat every other day. You don’t
go for long stretches. Enjoy yourself one day. Enjoy yourself less the next day.
You probably don’t believe me, but this isn’t dangerous at all (for the majority of
people; there are always exceptions). Your metabolism won’t slow down, you won’t lose
muscle mass, and you won’t feel exceptionally tired. Contrariwise, my friend, there are
actually benefits to fasting! Calorie restriction—according to many recent scientific
studies—is actually good for you. Giving your body and digestive system a rest, by not
eating, makes you healthier and more energetic.
Go and search up the Wikipedia article on Intermittent Fasting. You’ll see that I’m
not a liar. And, through my own personal experience, I can attest to what was
found/discovered. I feel great. I’ve lost a bunch of weight just buy eating every other day.
Of course, I take multivitamins on days I don’t eat, and I drink plenty of water, and I
don’t over exert myself. It’s worked. Intermittent fasting has worked.
The plan is simple: Eat one day. Don’t eat the next. Repeat. On and off. Eat every
other day. You will lose a lot of weight. Yes, yes. It takes sacrifice and a bit of discipline,
but it really works if you do it. You won’t have to calorie count, you won’t have to
exercise, and you won’t have to starve. You might think otherwise, but trust me, you will
not starve if you don’t eat for a single day.
Try out intermittent fasting (I.F.); the results may surprise you. Just go. Do it. It’s
simple. Don’t go out and buy and e-book or pay loads of money to have someone consult
you.
Fin.

P.S. Of course, take all this with caution. Be smart. Know your own body. As I said, it’s
not for everyone, but it is for most people. Double check. There are always exceptions. I
don’t want you to hurt yourself. Research this a bit. This is mostly an introductory.
