Issue
Method to achieve bolts based on the temperature conditions and how exactly are these bolts triggered based on the
given temperature.

Environment
Smart3D - All Versions

Resolution
Let’s consider a case where the user requires bolts to be triggered based on three different temperatures (100F, 200F,
and 300F).

Given below is a snapshot of the BoltSelectionFilter defined for such a case.

Spec : 1C0031
NPD range : 0.75in – 36in

From the above data, bolts fired based on temperature defined on piperun will be as shown in the below chart:

Where ‘x’ is the temperature defined on piperun.

‘BoltA’ gets triggered for any temperature below or equal to 100F. Similarly, ‘BoltB’ gets triggered for any
temperature above 100F but equal to or below 200F and so on for the case with ‘BoltC’.
No Bolts will be fired for temperature above 300F for the above example.
Note : If the user does not enter a maximum temperature value on the piperun, then no bolts will be triggered. This is
because all the bolts defined in BoltSelectionFilter with a value defined in ‘MaximumTemperature’, require an
appropriate temperature to be defined on the piperun.
