IV. Technical Parameter and Modifier Method 1. Press the button “Reset”, Without delay, press the button “Mute” and “Timer” at the same time. Usage Leave the option switch “Local/Remote/Auto” in “Local” position. The control panel will control the startup, running, stop of the generator set by manual operation. Leave the option switch “Local/Remote/Auto” in “Remote” position, the startup and stop of the diesel generator set will be controlled by remote control. And when leave it in “Auto” position, the control panel will control the diesel start up and stop automatically. 1, Auto Power On and Automatic Shutdown i. Leave the option switch “Local/Remote/Auto” in “Auto” position before turn on the control panel. In case the main power on, the diesel is in standby status. ii. In case the main power fail, the contact “auto starting” close, the control panel sends out “starting” signal, and control the generating set to start automatically. In case the startup of diesel engine fails in 5 seconds, it will be restarted up 10 seconds later. In case the startup fails for 3 times, the control panel will send out an audible and visual alarm signal and “start failure” indicator lamp lights up. iii, In case the diesel engine is successfully started up, and the speed reaches 600rpm, the control panel sends out a “Run” signal. Then it sends out “Rated” signal, and the electron speed regulator will make the diesel engine to increase speed to rated speed. iv. When the diesel speed reaches rated speed, the control panel will send out “ECB close” signal. v . When the control panel receives stopping signal, the control panel will send out “ECB open” signal. Leave the option switch “Local/Remote/Auto” in “Local” position before turning on the control panel. In case the main power on, the diesel is in standby status. In case the main power fails, the contact “auto starting” close. ii Press the signaling lamp push button “Start”. The start solenoid valve is electrified and begins to working. When the diesel starts successfully, and the speed is higher than 600rpm, the indicator lamp “Run” lights up. iii, Then leave the option switch “idle/rated” in “rated” position, the electron speed regulator will make the diesel increase speed to rated speed. Here, the control panel will control the startup, operation and switching-in of the whole generating set. 5. After successful switching-in for operation of the generator set, keep the generator set operating for some certain time, and then close the switch of the main grid for power supply. Here, the control panel will automatically separate the main switch of the generator set to control the automatic slow down, idle operation and stop of diesel engine. And thus, the whole system is finished debugging, and could be formally put into operation. (2) Automatic testing function This function is for inspection of diesel generating set for 1-2 times weekly, for the purpose of timely discovery and settlement of failures, as well as timely and reliable work of the generator set after power failure of main grid. Operating steps are as shown below: 1, Leave the option switch “Local/Remote/Auto” in “Auto” position. 2. If the diesel starts up during the heater’s working, the heater will stop working automatically. Lamp Test: After control panel power on, press the button to check all of the indicator lamps. Start: Press the button to make the generating set start up. Idle/Rated: In local mode, when leave the switch in “Rated”, the electron speed regulator will make the diesel speed increase till it reaches rated speed. And when leave the switch in “Idle”, the electron speed regulator will make the diesel speed decrease to idle speed. Stop: Press the button, the control panel will give a signal to shutdown the diesel engine. And the indicator lamp lights up. Emergency Stop: “Emergency Stop” button is for on-duty personnel to manually control the emergency stop of diesel engine.
