Work you’ll do

Business Technology Analysts at Deloitte are expected to develop strong technical skills in the system/ technology area
you are working in. As a part of the onboarding process on projects, you are provided with training/awareness aimed
at building proficiency in the role. It involves development of technical and behavioral skills as per defined proficiency
levels (as per the Expectation Framework), understanding of the Firm specific tools and methodologies and focused
capability building on communication excellence as per Deloitte standards.

Professionals in the US India Consulting—technology practice offer both advisory and implementation services that
provide clients with comprehensive solutions to help them better manage the critical business of information
technology.

 Delivery of specific capability in Technology Consulting:


 Understand Business Requirements and Needs
 Support technical/functional/process document creation and maintain an effective library.
 Build, test and deliver solutions.
 Support application design.
 Responsible for technical specification creation.
 Responsible for Code development & Unit Testing
 Responsible for Test Data Creation & Test scripts creation and execution
 Support infrastructure building activities
 Adhere to defined processes and tools while performing day-to-day operations

Oracle package technologies:


Overview: Design, develop, test, and implement complex event processing solutions that unlock the value of
enterprise information. These solutions include middleware-enabled business process, applications, and system
component integration within and across enterprises. Additionally, EBI focuses on assisting clients in developing the
people, processes and architectures required to achieve and sustain Integration Excellence. Technologies: Tibco,
webMethods, SAP XI, Oracle Fusion, IBM Websphere .
Information Management:
Overview: Provides services that focus around one of our clients’ most important assets—Information. We work with
clients to design, develop, and implement solutions and processes to enable efficient Information capture, archival,
analysis and distribution within and between organizations. This scope of services covers the areas of Enterprise
Information Strategies and Architectures, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Enterprise Content Management,
and Enterprise Portal. Technologies: Informatica, Ascential Datastage, Vignette, Verity, Business Objects, Cognos.

Systems Integration:
Overview: Design, develop, transform, re-platform, and tunes application components or custom-build systems in
complex business scenarios. Offerings include Custom Development, Application Architecture and Testing Advisory
Services.

Technologies: J2EE, Struts, .Net, SQL Server, Oracle, PL/SQL, BEA Welogic, IBM Websphere, Manual, Automated, and
Performance testing.
Applications Management Services:
Application Management Services (AMS) provides a differentiating set of service-based capabilities focused on
organization’s measurable business value. AMS provides a seamless transition from implementation to on-going
support and maintenance utilizing robust methods, tools, and accelerators. The AMS practice delivers functional

 Interacts with the Client on regular basis through face to face interactions/video

 Suggests practical solutions and partners with the Client to implement the solutions

 Performs account coordination with the clients to build/improve relationship, seek feedback to identify areas
of improvement. Seeks information/ideas/establishes relationship with Client to assess any future
opportunities for additional business
 Identifies the best industry practices and implements in the engagements
 Defines project standards, possesses knowledge of methodologies, and understanding of process
improvement initiatives
