Ans: There have been no gaps in my studies

Q-5: Consider these questions in your response: What research have you done into Australian
Universities that has led you to choose RMIT? Why have you chosen RMIT over other Universities
in Australia? What do you know about RMIT?

Ans: University selection is one of the most important criteria as your future depends on it. So, I meticulously
researched all the available options , consulted many friends and relatives before settling on RMIT .

I had also checked the website of few other universities like Deakin, Swinburne and I found RMIT better than
its counterparts

Whomsoever talked to me about RMIT spoke in the same revered tone as one did while talking about IITs’s in
India.

RMIT is a globally recognized university and is one of the Australia's largest tertiary institution. RMIT has
earned a formidable reputation for its well reputed faculty, an excellent alumni network and brilliant
placement record.

As per QS rankings RMIT fares much better than its competitors.

Consider these questions in your response: How will studying in Australia beneft your future?
Why have you particularly chosen to study in Melbourne? What research have you done into
other countries that has led you to choose Australia as your study destination?

I have chosen Australia for my higher education destination primarily because it ofers best of both worlds. Its
education is considered at par with some of the best universities in the world and it is not that heavy on the
pocket also.

Secondly in Australia the standard of living is very high and the cost of living is nominal, so it’s a win-win
situation.

I have chosen to live in Melbourne because Melbourne ofers you everything from Sandy beaches to open
terraces and beautiful architecture you have it all. Moreover Melbourne is a multicultural city having a rich
heritage and is also considered to be a safe and homely City. No wonder it has been voted the most liveable
city in the world multiple times

Before fnalizing on Australia , I researched other countries like UK, USA and India . In UK and USA, one needs
GRE to get admission in top universities, also they have only one major intake , but Australian Universities ,
have multiple intakes and they don’t need GRE . Moreover the data science programe has not really kicked of
in India .That is why I chose Australia, for further education.

Consider these questions in your response: If your program is ofered in your country, why don’t

country and how will this beneft you?

Data science is India is relatively , still in very nascent stage, but is very upcoming in rest of the world, so as a
marketing man such as myself would put it I would like to have an "early mover advantage" in this futuristic
feld

No doubt Some excellent colleges such as SP Jain and IIM Bangalore are ofering courses in data science but
since it has not kicked of that well in India but Australian universities are on top for Data science related
programs. The curriculum of Australian Universities is advanced and practical based. Australian Education
system is recognised globally. I am sure after completion of my degree from Australia i will get good job
opportunities once I will return to my home country.

(Please give a dollar amount in both your home currency and the equivalent in Australian dollars)
How does this compare to the salary you would receive if you did a degree in your own country?
Why is studying in Australia a good investment for your future?

After completion of my course from Australia I can easily expect to earn AUD i.e around INR 1 Lakh to
1.50Lakh , but if I complete my studies from India I can expect to earn only about 50 – 60,000 INR . So
pursuing this course from Australia is a much better option.

words or less) Consider these questions in your response: What job do you expect to get once
you complete this program? Do you have an ofer of a job when you return to your home country?
If not, how do you intend to look for a job once you return home?

Once I fnish my degree I plan to work as a data scientist in a reputable company and the company that i
would like to work for is Google. Where as there are many other companies that ofer jobs in the same feld
like Apple, facebook ,Infosys, Accenture etc. Currently I don't have a job ofer with me however I will look for
jobs on diferent job portals such as seek.com, indeed.com ,naukri.com, Shine.com , FreeJobAlert.com etc.

(Please explain in 100 words or less)

once you complete your degree and, if so, which visa subclass you intend to apply for to work in
Australia.

After completion of my program , I intend to return to India , as India is a developing country and , many MNC’s
