Rainbow Fleet and
the OU Health Science
Center are partnering to
offer free developmental
and autism screenings
for children ages 0-6.
Professionals will
screen for autism and
development in areas
including language, cog-
nitive, gross motor, fine
motor and social skills.
The screening event is
set for Feb. 14. Speech
and language patholo-
gists as well as behav-
ioral health specialists
will conduct the screen-
ings.
“We offer these impor-
tant and otherwise
expensive screenings
for free,” said Carrie
Williams, Rainbow
Fleet’s Executive
Director. “We want more
parents to have this
opportunity to access

this testing for children
who might need services
for currently undiag-
nosed challenges.”
A parent or legal
guardian must accom-
pany the child through-
out the process.
The screenings will be
held Feb. 14 at Rainbow
Fleet, 3024 Paseo. To
