Smoothie King has announced cleaner blending – adding more whole fruit and vegetables and
promising no gluten, trans-fat, high fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated oils. Removing all
added sugars. Ensuring to offer vegan, dairy-free, low-fat, gluten-free, and soy-free smoothies.
New Store Openings: Drive – Thru locations: Derby, Kansas and West Ashley, South Carolina. Stores
opening – Washington D.C.; Brookhaven, MS and Franklin, Tennessee – The owner is the largest single
franchisee who currently owns 15 locations and opening three more at the same time as the Franklin
location. Additionally, 16 new Smoothie Kings stores planned for Greater Cincinnati.
