Donation Drive
Sekolah Kebangsaan Sri Cempaka is holding a campaign to collect used and
second hand items such as clothes and shoes, electrical appliances, books and
magazines, toys and game sets. These items must be clean and in reasonably
good condition and can be reused.
These items will be distributed to the victims of the Kampung Satu fire incident. It
was unfortunate that some of the pupils of this school also lost their homes in this

PETALING JAYA, 20 June – Four people were injured in an accident near Jalan
Gasing yesterday morning. Engineer Halim bin Musa, 40, and his wife Maria Yusuf,
38, were on their way to work when the accident happened. Murugan a/l
Sivaragam and his friend were on their way to the factory when Murugan
suddenly lost control of the van that he was driving.
All four of them were admitted to Universty Malaya Medical Centre. Maria Yusuf
was said to be in serious condition. Her husband, Halim who was in a coma, is still
in the intensive care unit. Murugan suffered a broken left leg while his friend with
facial injuries was given outpatient treatment. The police advised all drivers to be
careful while driving on the road.
