Dedication:

Dollhouse is dedicated to Anna Chicco,

Amanda Gundrum, Kara Lessord, and the
many other strong, independent people who
inspired me along the way.

Thank you to my teachers Dr. Andrew

Martin Smith and Dr. Jeanette McVicker,
and to my parents for all the help and
support given during this process.

Plot Summary:
A doll named Kara, accidentally packaged
with the wrong accessories, is bought for a
little girl and moves into the “dollhouse.”
She is expected to accept the world that the
other dolls in the house live in, but she has a
hard time fitting in and agreeing with their
way of life. Although met with criticism, she
questions the stereotype and frame the
other dolls put her in and has to decide
whether to fit in or to break away.
