feedback%in%regards%to%developing%a%Year%8%camp%booklet.%I%have%also%been%in%communication%with%
Clive%Dobson%(Camp%coordinator,%North%Campus).%%

Below%are%my%recommendations:%
1.! Trangia%usage%theory.%
2.! Character%strengths%developed%on%camp%and%Growth%Mindset%%
3.! Minimal%impact%camping.%This%could%also%include%information%about%Blackham,%highlighting%
the%need%to%care%for%the%natural%environment%for%future%generations.%
4.! Packing%a%backpack%and%correct%equipment%and%clothing.%
5.! Menu%planning.%

After%researching%what%resources%already%exist%on%"Inside%Trinity",%it%seems%at%this%stage%it%would%just%
be%a%matter%of%condensing%the%above%information%into%a%student%friendly%booklet.%I%could%also%contact%
WEOA%to%see%if%they%have%anything%to%add.%%

I%had%the%idea%that%the%booklet%could%be%facilitated%over%three%PC%lessons%with%either,%a%tutor%or%Head%
of%House%in%Week%10%and%11%Term%1%(the%information%needs%to%be%given%to%students%before%the%
school%holidays,%I%am%mindful%some%campuses%will%be%going%on%camp%early%Term%2).%%
It%is%my%understanding%that%it%might%be%possible%for%Heads%of%House%and%Tutors%to%be%able%to%split%the%
house%groups,%whereby%one%teacher%could%take%the%Year%8s%aside%and%work%through%the%information,%
some%Houses%may%even%be%able%to%combine%their%Year%8’s%so%the%need%for%staff%numbers%is%reduced.%%

Each%15%min%lesson%could%have%a%short%video%eg.%safe%trangia%use.%In%the%student%booklet,%I%could%
develop%some%responses%for%the%students%to%complete.%Students%would%leave%their%booklets%at%school%
until%all%three%lessons%are%completed.%I%can%develop%a%brief%program%for%the%PC%teachers%to%follow.%%

I%am%mindful%that%these%three%lessons%would%need%to%be%put%into%the%PC%program%(already%a%busy%
schedule)%and%have%not%spoken%with%anyone%if%this%is%a%possibility?%%

If%you%are%happy%for%me%to%go%ahead%I%would%like%to%start%this%Friday%20th%Feb.%I%would%also%need%the%
following%Friday%the%27th%Feb.%After%our%discussion%last%year%you%mentioned%the%availability%of%four%
paid%days%to%complete%the%booklet.%I%thought%perhaps%I%could%do%two%days%and%take%it%from%there.%%I%
would%like%the%booklet%to%perhaps%be%edited%by%someone%other%than%me%before%it%was%to%be%
distributed,%to%ensure%I%am%covering%specifics%required%for%the%Blackham%camp.%Would%I%be%able%to%
