ABSTRACT

Our desired objective is to design an autonomous quadcopter which can

be used for environment monitoring. For this purpose a quadcopter will be

designed and fabricated. The quadcopter will be equipped with an onboard

camera as we plan to use image recognition to help navigate and control the

quadcopter. The algorithm for this purpose is SLAM(Simultaneous localisation and mapping ).

For monitoring we plan to use an environment monitoring toolkit available for the purpose.
