OBSERVATION
SUGGESTIONS
From the study I would like to quote few suggestions to the organization relating to Import –
Procedures, Documentation and Custom Clearance.
1) There are always / sometimes Changes in the Rules and Regulations or any other changes
in the Import Procedures, Documents and Custom Clearance. Company should arrange such
introductory sessions and training programs for the employees to get the thorough knowledge
and create awareness
.
2) The person who is working as import executive or import manager should have to update
his knowledge by time to time for getting touch in current rules and regulation of government
as well as trade policies .
3) A company can take advantages of various government scheme and policies by updating
the current trend as well as knowledge.
CONCLUSION
From the study I would like to conclude following for my summer project in the organization
relating to Import – Procedures, Documentation and Custom clearance.
1) The import procedure is a very long and lengthy it moves only step by step. The
import procedure includes assessment of custom duty, valuation of goods etc. the
procedure start from filling of bill of entry and end after getting out of custom charge.
