Dear Mayor,

Do you really believe Attorney General Sessions is going to move the federal case against Officer
Daniel Pantaleo anytime in the foreseeable future? In the meantime Pantaleo is accruing time toward
his pension every year he stays on the force,

When the Feds were dragging their feet on the Francis Livoti case, Mayor Guiliani took the bull by the
horns and directed NYPD Commissioner Safir to bring departmental charges. Livoti was fired and it
was no hindrance to the eventual federal case as he was convicted of civil rights violations and
sentenced to 7 years in federal prison.

I beg and implore you, don't let this case drag out any longer than it has . Bring some closure to the
Garner family. Officer Pantaleo should get a departmental trial ASAP. We can't wait for Jeff Sessions
