To whom it may concern,

I am writing this letter to apply for the English teacher position as advertised recently on
the Secretary of Education call.

I am a qualified language teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Languages (teaching and

translating), I hold a Master’s degree in Modern Languages and I am currently studying
a training course about online pedagogy (e-learning), which proves my strong
commitment to improve my abilities in effective manner.
For the past seven years I have worked as a translator, a language teacher, and a
researcher. I have worked for several educational projects, mainly providing English and
French classes. I have also done syllabus development for a French course to children. I
am also an extremely hard-working, responsible and mature worker, who enjoys working
in a team as well as autonomously.

I believe that I represent an appropriate candidate for this position because of the
following reasons:
Firstly, I perceive this job opportunity as a noteworthy progress in the urgent measures
needed in our country. Secondly, education has an important role to play to solve social
issues. Besides, there exists today an increasing number of people speaking English in
the international business world.

Nowadays, it is only education that can have an exceptional impact to bring virtuous
results in society. Thus, I would love the opportunity to contribute to the teacher’s training
in the field of my professional background, helping them to build linguistic and cultural
skills in English.
In that line, I look forward to being able to continue the next stage of this hiring process.
Yours sincerely,
