Cinderella Company Contract

Read and initial each of the following statements. Please sign at the bottom of the form and also
have a parent sign it.

1. _____ I will attend all required rehearsals and arrive in a timely fashion. I am permitted to
miss no more than 2 rehearsals. If I miss a 3rd rehearsal, I understand that my part may be
recast. (This may even be the case for illness. Consistently missing rehearsals hurts the
production and your fellow cast members are counting on you to be present.)
2. ____ I will pay a production fee of $50.00 to offset production costs and may need to provide
some of my own make-up/shoes/undergarments in addition to this. Production Fee is due at the
Read- Thru.
3. _____ If I know in advance I will miss a rehearsal, I will notify Ms. McFadden in writing via
email at least 24hrs in advance.
4. _____ I will know my lines and blocking by the deadlines. If I do not, I will receive one
warning that I have 24 hours to learn my material. If I do not meet this requirement or I continue
upon new deadlines to not be prepared, then my part may be recast.
5 _____ I will show respect to ALL people involved in the production. If at any point I speak
disrespectfully, play on my phone or iPod during rehearsal, or speak ill of others, I will be given
one warning. If it happens again, my part may be recast.
6. _____ I will not post negative comments about theatre, or any of my peers or adults involved
in the production on any online format including Facebook or Twitter. Frustration happens. We
all get irritated. But this is a fundraising activity and negative comments hurt profits. If you are
having issues, the mature and responsible thing to do is talk it out with the appropriate people in
the appropriate format.
7. ____ I understand that the microphones, props, costumes, scripts, ect. should be treated with
the utmost care. I will not eat or drink while wearing my microphone or costume. I will not touch
props/equipment/costumes that are not assigned to me.
8. ____ I will clean up the rehearsal space and/or performance space (costumes, props, etc.)
before leaving each day.
9. ____ I will volunteer for at least 8 hours of TECH time that is not part of an assigned
rehearsal. (Saturday tech days would be an example of this time.) I will participate in striking the
set after the production ends.
10. ____ I understand that my behavior in all places at Walkersville High School and in social
media also reflects on the Theatre Program. I will strive to keep that in mind. I know that Ms.
McFadden expects me to maintain my grades, assignments turned in, and make behavior
choices that reflect PRIDE expectations.
11. ____ I understand that if I lose any of the show materials that I will have to pay the
replacement cost.
12. ____ I understand that I must report on time to all call times and be prepared for rehearsal
(scripts/pencil, ect.). I also understand that I must be in school during the school day in order to
participate in rehearsal/shows after school. If I miss more that 90 minutes of school, I can not

participate in after school activities without a doctor’s note, and my after school absence will be
unexcused.
13. ____ I understand that I must participate in all show dates. April 19, 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 28.
14. ____ I understand that information will be communicated through email, Remind, and
Google Classroom. I agree to frequently check the avenues of communication so that I am
informed.
15. ____ I agree to promote the show in a positive manner and help sell tickets for the show.

I have read and understand the items listed above and agree to all of them. I understand that if I
fail to meet these expectations that I may lose my part in the show.

There is a possibility that the Booster may arrange Tech Dinners for the two weeks leading up
to the show. There may be a small fee to help offset those costs and the Boosters may ask for
donations of drinks/snacks. Please indicate if you have food allergies/dietary restrictions that will
need to be considered.
