Dear Families,

Welcome to first grade! My name is Jaclyn Shapiro. I’m a recent MSU

graduate with my Bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I am
excited and honored to have the pleasure of completing my year of
student teaching in Mrs. Raymond’s classroom!

I am from West Bloomfield, Michigan and am a graduate of Cranbrook. I

have worked with children in various contexts from babysitting,
tutoring, assistant teaching, and camp counseling for the past 8+ years of
my life and have loved each and every minute! In my spare time, I enjoy
reading, baking, playing & watching sports, and spending time with
family and friends.

I am greatly looking forward to working with you and your children

throughout the course of the year, and am excited for us to teach, learn,
and grow from each other while having a fun and productive school year!
