QUESTIONS/SUGGESTIONS FROM CONSULTANT AND CLASSMATES

CLASSMATES (Group 18)

Can you explain further and show more evidence about the radiographic fact?

CONSULTANT

In those plates, the question is not about whether the x-ray was taken anteroposteriorly (AP) or
posteroanteriorly (PA). You cannot really tell whether it is AP or PA. Normally, we take all x-rays in AP
view except the spine and the wrist, which are taken in PA. In adults you don't normally see incomplete
fractures. That was a complete fracture that was not displaced. It was not a fracture of the styloid
process of the radius because the styloid is only the point. It was an intra-articular radial fracture.
