Dear Parents,

My name is Stephanie Engel and I will be student teaching in

your child’s class with Mrs. Selby. After student teaching this
spring, I will be graduating from the University of Arizona with a
degree in Elementary Education. I am very excited to have this
experience in Mrs. Selby’s first grade classroom.

I was raised in Gilbert, Arizona where I lived with my dad,

mom and younger brother. I have two golden retrievers whom I
absolutely adore. I’ve wanted to become a teacher since I was a
student in elementary school, and haven’t changed my mind with
that decision. In my spare time I enjoy working out, spending
time with friends and family, and traveling.

This spring is going to be filled with so much learning for

both the students and myself! I am so excited to see what this
semester brings.
