Problem Statement: IMPROVEMENT OF SOFTWARE LEVEL

AGREEMENT(SLA) MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORKS USING PREDICTIVE
ANALYSIS AND LITERATURE REVIEW.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Software Maintenance is the largest phase of

software development . It is crucial for any software project to ensure that the
product sustains at the end-consumer level. Software Maintenance consumes
a lot of cost . Previous studies have included SLA management Frameworks
without predicting and without much of literature review. We would like to
improve upon the 6 stages of predictive analysis like Service Templates
Development, SLA Negotiation, Service Deployment, Service Execution, Service
Assessment and Service Decommissioning or Termination. The framework helps to
objectively identify inefficiencies by the data of software reviews from multiple
perspectives such as control flow, time, data, and resource. Analysis of data
from diverse perspectives provide an integrated view of the process thus
helps managers to make informed decisions and efficiently improve process.
Finally based on the findings, there is need to recommend suitable actions to
mitigate inefficiency, thereby improving maintenance process.

SOLUTION APPROACH: We will be referring to the IEEE

journals/publications. They cast importance on Service Level Management
without a Proper framework for SLA. Some paper contain the predictive
analysis and Literature reviewing details . We will try to implement the result
Predictive analysis on SLA as SLA depends on project to project . We will try
modifying the 6 Phases and their interactions for a beneficial outcome . We
will try to coordinate with fellow mates who are planning for projects and get a
reasonable review and feedback about their own Project. Literature review will
help us to understand different authors perspective and hence we will
hopefully come up with an better model for SLA.

IMPLEMENTATION DETAILS:
The following phases will be carried out in details:
a)Systematic Literature review.
b)Data retrieval from IEEE xplore , ACM Digital Library , Sciencedirect etc
c)Development of a preliminary framework along with some Graphical
Diagrams about the framework.
