The Naga City Urban Poor Federation, Inc with an office address at City Hall

Compound, J. Miranda Avenue, Naga City is the umbrella organization of 64

member urban poor organization in Naga City, both on-site and off-site
development. NCUPFI has been an active advocate of the Naga City’s “Kaantabay
Sa Kauswagan “ (partner in development) a program for the urban poor
established in 1989. NCUPFI is a member of both the Naga City People’s Council
(NCPC) and Naga City Urban Development and Housing Board. (NCUDHB)

NCUPFI stands in our objectives that;

a. The federation will work for total human development to improve, uplift
economic and living conditions of the member organizations.
b. That the federation will be united in any problems that may arise in the
community.
c. To have a strong Federation with its own vision, with autonomy,
independent, non-partisan politics and democratic in all decision making.
d. That the federation shall respect the autonomy of the member
organization.
e. That the federation shall engage in the Community mortgage program of
the government housing agencies to insure the security of land tenure of its
members, livelihood, economic projects of both the government and
private institutions.

In the pursuit for genuine people’s participation in making poverty work through
the Kaantabay Sa Kauswagan program (KSK), the NCUPFI is implementing various
programs and activities to help the members for thirty years already.

To further expand our scope of services, it is in this regard that we wish to

formally submit to your good office our application for accreditation for CMP-M
of the Social Housing Finance Corporation.
