People’s Will Party welcomes the UNSC Resolution on Ceasefire in Syria

People’s Will Party welcomes the Resolution of UN Security Council on the declaration of a
ceasefire in all Syrian territories for 30 days and the introduction of humanitarian aid.

The importance of this resolution lies in the fact that it contributes to stopping of the shedding
of Syrian blood, cutting the way to exploit the Syrian tragedy for passing the American agenda,
deepening the sorting among the armed groups, and opening the way again for resuming of the
political process.

A final end to the humanitarian catastrophe will only be achieved by expediting the political
solution on the basis of UNSC resolution 2254, as this is the true criterion of any party's
responsibility for the Syrian bleeding wounds. Hence, the next logical concrete step must be the
engagement of all parties in the immediate implementation of the outcomes of Sochi
Conference for Syrian National Dialogue.
