”The Thinking Hats”- iis a learning and communication technique, which stimulates
creativity that went into textbooks and MBA programs.
The six hats are ways of processing information:
Mind mapping is a creative technique, an extremely effective way to
systematize information, take notes that literally "map" your ideas.
The White Hat calls for information known or needed.
The Red Hat expresses emotions and feelings and hunches.
The five essential features of Mind mapping:
The Yellow Hat symbolizes positive thinking and optimism.
1.The main idea, subject or focus is crystallized in a central image.
The Green Hat focuses on creativity, new possibilities, alternatives, and ideas.
2.The main themes radiate from the central image as ”branches”.
The Black Hat is the pessimist's hat, it expresses criticism and caution.
3.The branches comprise a key image or key word drawn or printed on its associated line.
The Blue Hat is the moderator's hat. It does not concern a subject in itself, but a process of
thinking. 4.Topics of lesser importance are represented as ”twigs” of the relevant branch.
