AFROFUTURISM
Afrofuturism is a literary and cultural aesthetic that combines

elements of science fiction, historical fiction, fantasy,

Afrocentricity, and magic realism with non-Western

cosmologies in order to critique not only the present-day

dilemmas of #people but also to revise, interrogate, and

re-examine the historical events of the past.

THE ROADSHOW Aspires to diversify the city's cultural heritage with alternative

(inter) national programming -sparking new conversations and experiences

empowering the hue-man ability to perceive, feel and be conscious of modern

day dilemmas, opportunities and superpowers. 

In a time where the discussion around freedom of expression and the form in

which idea’s and opinions are being presented today - the nessecity to reflect

on depression, relationships and a people as outcasts in society has

been more relevant than ever in the current global conversations.

Within this poetic exhibition which is custom developed and performed by

Melanin Kris and futurists we strive to be surprisingly entertaining, highly

ambitious and emotionally affecting. “The Roadshow is a great night out for

(young) adults”.
