Assignment Two
My rational for the classroom I designed was based around younger children from early education (pre-school/kindergarten) to

elementary school based on my only experience in a U.S. classroom. My only experience comes from my special education

observation I did in a resource room. The layout of the room allowed the teacher to see the children from anywhere in the room the

teacher decided to sit/stand. I liked using different areas of the room designed specifically for technology, writing, reading, and lesson

plan instruction on the whiteboard because I believe it will help the students get motivated to study when they know they are in the

“writing” area. I personally would love to have the teachers desk next to the entrance purely for greeting students every day and

making sure I know their name when they come in and out.
