Ask students what they want our classroom to be like. Remind them we are getting near the end of the
school year, but we still have lots of learning to do. What can we do to make our classroom a better
place?
Add ideas to chart.

Then post chart about advocacy.

Explain to students some ways that they can show advocacy. Then have them come up with examples
of what that might look like in our classroom.

Have them turn and talk to their partner about ways they will show advocacy. Pull 3 equity sticks and
have those students share with the class.
