1. The SADF WC Regional Championship is Open to all dancers irrespective of their affiliation in the
Star grades and Dress sections or the non-restricted syllabus, irrespective of their affiliation.
2. Entries must be completed on the official Entry Form.
3. Studios and/or club principals will be held responsible for the behaviour of their students.
4. Studio Heads must ensure that dancers are dressed, standing in the marshalling area, at least two
sections before the running order.
9. AGE LEVEL: Tiny Tot (U8), Juvenile (U/12); Junior (U/16); Youth (U/21); Adult (U/35); Senior/Masters (O/35)
GENERAL RULES:
11. Sections where insufficient entries are received will be cancelled or combined with the next age group.
Although this is not expected, in the event of such, studios will be advised in advance.
12. All Championship Final couples and Professionals will dance a 40 second Honour Dance with a five second
introduction.
13. The results will be made available in the next week following the competition.
14. No mark sheets will be available at the competition.
15. THE JUDGE’S DECISION IS FINAL.
16. NO PRIVATE VIDEO TAPING OR CELL PHONE RECORDING WILL BE ALLOWED. Those caught infringing
upon this ruling, could be subjected to a fine. All Media Coverage is owned by the Organiser inline with WDC
Resolution.
17. No responsibility for loss or theft of articles left in Changing Rooms, Ballrooms/Auditoriums/Halls or Hotel Rooms
can be accepted by the Organizer, or by the SADF, and neither can they be held liable for injury sustained by
persons attending this event. Everyone attending does so at his or her own risk.
18. All persons attending this event, whether as spectators, competitors, officials, or guests of the organizer, shall be
bound by the SADF Rules, and by participating in this event automatically become obligated to adhere to them.
19. An observer from the National Competitive Committee will be monitoring the championship for any irregularities.
20. Drug / Alcohol Abuse: Doping is strictly forbidden in line with WADA (World Anti-Doping Association) protocols. If
any competitor is under the influence of drugs or alcohol, the organiser reserves the right to remove that
competitor from the competition.
21. Designated areas will be provided for dancers to warm-up, no dancing in foyers will be allowed.
22. No cold boxes, food or refreshments will be allowed in the auditorium. Food may be purchased at the food
vendors available in the food court.
23. THE EVENT WILL RUN STRICTLY TO TIME, registration times will be confirmed:
24. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. It is the responsibility of studio heads to ensure that all dancers
wanting to participate are entered before or on closing date.
25. Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
ENTRY FORMS: Entry Forms are distributed and collated by the SADF WC Regional Branch.
Entries without Proof of Payment is will not be accepted and is deemed NULL AND VOID!

Supplied Music:
Groups need to hand in their music (CD ONLY) to the DJ at least 1 hour in
advance of competing.
Music must be clearly marked, with Group name. Please have a backup CD.
The Organiser is not responsible for the quality of the recording OR for music
that does not play correctly.
Entry Fee is R300 per/Group.
