You are going to see images of five cities and their landmarks. Write a
paragraph describing each city and country it belongs and the landmark shown.
Use the vocabulary from the box for the descriptions. The first one is done for
you as an example. / A continuación verá imágenes de cinco ciudades y sus
lugares representativos. Escriba un párrafo describiendo cada ciudad, el país al
que pertenece y el lugar mostrado. Use el vocabulario dentro del recuadro para
las descripciones. La primera ha sido hecha como ejemplo.

New York is a big city in the

United States (North
America). It takes thousand of
visitors every year. The city
has a population of around 8
million people. There is a lot
to see and do in New York.
You can visit the Central Park,
the Metropolian museum and
Time’s Square. In the picture
you can see the Statue of
Liberty, a monumet built
between 1875 and 1986. It is
93 meters tall. The statue is

the Hudson River.
 The Saint Peter’s Square is the
most famous square of Rome, In
Italy. There is ubicated the
leader of the catolic religion.
There is many statues of Jesus
Christ, Mary and the saints on
the cornice.
There is a big obelisk in the
middle of the square. If the
visitor want to visit this place, he
must walk across the “Way of
the Conciliation” for some
minutes.

If you want to go to Australia,
you must to visit the Opera
House in Sydney. That is a
modern building located in the
beach in front of the Pacific
Ocean.
You can use a boat for suf
across the ocean always with
the security of the cost guard.

The Edinburgh castle is a very
old building located over the
mountains and hills in Edinburg,
in Scotland.

There is many rooms here, you

can be a few afraid if you across
the old doors. You can walk
there along the dark halls to
know a few of the history of the
construction and the place.

the downtown of Dubai, that is
The Burj Khalifa the tallest
construction in the world. That is
a Busiines Center very important
in Asia, besides is ubicated
throught the Shopping mall area.
