BUSINESS PLAN (30%)

Objectives:

A business plan is a formal statement of a set of business goals, the reasons they are believed attainable, and the
plan for reaching those goals. It may also contain background information about the organization or team attempting
to reach those goals.
Business plans may also target changes in perception and branding by the customer, client, taxpayer, or larger
community. When the existing business is to assume a major change or when planning a new venture, a 3 to 5 year
business plan is required, since investors will look for their annual return in that timeframe.

Instructions:

1. This assignment should be done in a group of not more than 5 persons.

2. Each group have to prepare a Business Plan by using template in that website.
3. Business Plan as a final report should not be more than 40, one & half spaced pages of text, plus any
tables and appendices that help the reader/lecturer.
4. Students should write Business Plan in English.
5. Please submit your assignment in bound.
6. Plagiarism, copying and cheating will NOT be awarded any mark, and disciplinary actions will be taken
instead.
7. Business Plan assignment should be submitted on or before LECTURE 10 before presentation.
8. Prepare a power point presentation (maximum 15 slides) of your group discussion.
9. You also have to present and submit a copy of slide presentation to UTeM U-Learn and e-mail your lecturer.
10. 15 minutes each group for presentation.
11. Presentation will be held during class on LECTURE 11 - 14.
12. Any requires/ questions/ problems regarding this assignment should be directed to your lecturer either
during lecture or in the consultation hours.
