    And there you were 
    Enjoying life in your own little world 
    Piling all your smiles into one face 
    How can I reach you without it being a race? 
     
    And there I was 
    Captivated by your towering form 
    Observing your charm and lack of flaws 
    What is it that prohibits you from the norm? 
     
    It’s your passion toward things 
    That gives me hope and assembles me wings 
     
    And there it was 
    The month that carries that day 
    The day that abstracted the grey 
    A breathtaking day in May
