A career that reflects my personal interest is physical therapy. I found interest in this field

after years of being involved with physical activity and the occasional setbacks that come with it.

I would like to pursue this career due to its impact on my personal life. For this career I would

need to attended a four-year university then post-secondary education for two years. Skills I

would need to work in physical therapy would not only include the ability to work with people.

Personal characteristic that I possess that would benefit me in this field is the ability to relate and

conversate with people. Work experiences I have revolving around physical therapy is more

through observation. After a blown-out shoulder and ankle injuries I witnessed PT first hand.

Through this four-year program I have learned bits and pieces of this field through

speaker panels. These panels were helpful at moments but they were not always geared to my

circle of interest. If I could personally change something then I would have made the panels

more personalized and intimate for an extension of understanding. I only wish I would have

taken more initiative sooner than I had. As far as my faith, it was never conflicted by the career

pathway I looked into. My advice to anyone who is looking into any field is that nothing will be

tailored to your life, you will need to learn how to make a compromise.
