The ghost of the

She will crawl out

under your bed and
face you with an ugly
red bloody face. She
smells of a rotten flesh.
I ’m going to tell you a scary story about what I and my friends had experience. My name
is Ben Chan and I’m 10 years old. My three best friends are Kin, Ana and Abu. I never
believe that ghost really exists when I know that my house being haunted by a headless
ghost!

That’s when my world change.

It’s was school holiday. My family and I just move into a new banglo house. When I first
enter the house, the house was dusty and dark. After a week, the house is clean with the
help of my three best friends and relatives. Dad make the basement his office. He put all the
file work there. I was not allowed to enter the room because dad might thing I will disturb
his work. My room wall colour is blue and it is big. The kitchen, the room, the toilet and the
backyard also big and we got this super cool swimming pool!

I was going to swim with Kin, Ana and Abu. They were all excited to get into swimming
pool. Abu the first one to jump in and second is Ana because Kin push her. As Ana was
falling into the swimming pool she drag Kin together and screaming as she falls into the
swimming pool. When it was my turn, I froze. A stinky smell came into my nostrils. It smells
like rotten flesh and I saw blood and a body in the swimming pool! I scream in fear. I close
my eyes.

When I open my eyes the swimming pool looks fine. There’s no blood and a body in the
swimming pool. The swimming pool looks perfectly fine. My face was pale. Everybody stop
swimming and was looking at me.

“I saw blood and a body in the swimming pool just now! Did you all saw it? The body
was floating!”

Kin, Ana and Abu face froze too.

“Are you having a fever Ben?” said Kin with a face thinking that maybe I’m crazy.
 “No I’m not! I’m not crazy Kin!”

I was so shocked.

After the swimming, I go to sleep early. I had a dream about a woman. She wears a long red
dress and she was in my house at the stairs just staring at my face with a painful red eyes.
She is so beautiful with the long hair running down at her shoulder. Suddenly, her face
changes into a dark pale monster. She was screaming and running toward me! Her
screaming voice is not a woman voice. It’s like a monster voice! I was running as fast as I
could but she caught me. She tries to kill me with her sharp teeth and nails. I was screaming
for dear life!

My mom was holding me. I was awake and still alive. She swept away my sweat with a
towel. I squeeze my mom so hard that she was coughing.

“Mom, I had the worst nightmare! A woman tries to kill me with her sharp teeth and
nails!”

“Oh, you just have a nightmare. It won’t kill you and it’s midnight. You were screaming
and wake me and also your dad. You did not wash your teeth again right? That’s why you
have nightmare. Go back to sleep.”

She kisses my forehead then leaves the room leaving me alone. I tried to sleep again but fail
to do so. I also tried to close my eyes. It’s doesn’t work too so I decide I want to get some
drink in the kitchen at downstairs.

When I open the door, a chill wind blows in my face. The winds were so cold. It felt
different. Before leaving the room, I take a deep breath then moving out. My mom always
opens a small lamp so that if I want to go out I can see my way. I saw the door of my
parent’s room is a bit open and it’s relief for me.

I was at the stairs then that is when the smell of a rotten flesh hit my nostrils. It was stinky
and smells like a thousand years old and the same smells at the swimming pool! I saw a
figure standing in front of me not far away. It was that woman! She was crying. Her tears
were blood. She wears a long red dress and beautiful as she in my dream. But this time she
wasn’t changing into monster and chases me. She needs help.

“Please young boy, please, please, please help me! He is going to kill me my boyfriend!”
 “What?!”

My whole body froze as the ghosts were coming towards me. Then it disappeared!
