Good morning.

What is torture? It is the action or practice of inflicting

severe pain on someone as a punishment or to force them to
do or say something.

We disagree on this basically because it does not value

the dignity of every human person.

Torture interrogation will produce more bad than good.

The downside of torture interrogation is when the victim of
torture will intentionally say misleading information if they
think the authorities will believe it.

They will say whatever the torturers want them to say

just to stop their suffering. If we legalized torture
interrogation, then we are departing downward from
humanity . “Power without morality is a prescription for disaster”
