1. After taking some time to reflect, which of the six self-reliance areas did you
choose to work on? What is the overall goal or priority you want to achieve?

I chose Finances, My goal is “have a sustainable welfare”

2. Through prayer, pondering, and careful planning, now select a goal that you
can develop into a SMART goal that can be achieved in one week. Write your
SMART goal in 1-3 sentences, beginning with the words, "This week I will
_____."

This week I will manage my money better than others situations, I will try to
earn and not to spend in things that are not necessary for me, and also I will
give my tithe

3. Is your goal SPECIFIC? How will you focus on just one thing to improve?

Well, I will make a list where I will put the things that I need to spend
money

4. Is your goal MEASURABLE? Explain how will you measure your progress?

I will do this list every day

5. How Is your goal ATTAINABLE? Write down the major reasons why or how
you can reach the goal within one week.

A the end of the week I will give my tithe

6. How is your goal RELEVANT? How does this goal and your chosen path to
reach this goal fit into your overall priorities?

I prepare my-self to become a self-reliance person

7. How is your goal TIMELY? Give a timeline for your goal’s completion and
schedule how you will work on it in the next few days.

I will apply this goal every day

Imagine yourself in the future as a fully self-reliant individual. As

your future self, write a letter to your current self with
encouragement and counsel on how to become self-reliant in the
area you chose in Step 1.

Your letter should be a half to one page long, 12 point font, single
spaced. Spell check your work and proofread and edit your letter.

Include the following items in your letter:

 Why self-reliance is important
 The benefits your future self has experienced due to self-reliance in your
chosen area
 Specific suggestions and steps to work toward self-reliance in your
selected area

Being self-reliance is very important because It´s demands a lot of faith and the development of
each one of our qualities and gifts.
At the present time it is very important to have a lot of faith and always guide us by the boss so
that we can make good decisions and that we always have enough capacity to be able to
foresee our families what is necessary.
One of my goals is to be able to handle everything related to finance well, to be able to save in
an adequate way and to avoid that my family live with needs and be ready for any unforeseen
eventuality, because there are many benefits of being self-sufficient at first we have a It is our
Lord's proposal that if we ask him for everything he needs, he will always give us everything,
and that we should improve the talent that we have to try to increase each one of them.
I believe that the main steps to be self-sufficient is first to always ask the Lord all things, then
analyze our qualities and see what we are good at and try to develop and improve each of the
gifts we have and always thank the Lord for so many beautiful opportunities
